Purdue Foundation Student Board serves as an ambassador to Purdue University’s philanthropic initiatives and as stewards to alumni and donors. In this unique organization, members develop impactful leadership through building lasting relationships and creating opportunities.

Join us for our spring PFSB spring recruitment event! This will be an engaging and informative experience. Come and get to know our club community while enjoying some appetizers, light drinks, and a speech from one of our most distinguished PFSB alumni!

Why Give is a PFSB original event that takes place every semester to inspire and educate students about philanthropic giving. Often people don't realize how much of an impact donations and donors have on our community. These 5 weeks of events are jam-packed with fun activities open to all students! Stay tuned for information about our Why Give events!

Isabelle Diaz
Vice President of Diversity & Inclusion

|
Isabelle is a Senior from the suburbs of Chicago leveraging studies in British Literature, Art History, Philosophy, and Law & Society. Outside of the Purdue Foundation Student Board she works as the Purdue Galleries Luce Curatorial Intern, as well as an Honors Mentor for the John Martinson Honors College. She served this past year on the Rising Professionals Central Committee as the Scheduling Co-Chair, as well as a Purdue Student Government Senator and Writing Lab Tutor. She is currently being published to commemorate the 10th Anniversary John Martinson Honors College.
Her future plans are to attend Law School to pursue a career working as an International Art Lawyer to help countries of the Global South with repatriation, and to aid in the restoration of their cultural heritages.

David Rollock
Professor of Psychological Sciences
|
|
|
David Rollock is 150th Anniversary Professor and Professor of Psychological Sciences. He is an affiliated faculty member of Purdue’s African American Studies and Research Center, and is Adjunct Associate Professor of Clinical Psychology, Indiana University School of Medicine.
David earned his bachelor’s degree from Princeton University, and his masters and doctorate from Yale University. His empirical research, teaching, and applied interests center on adjustment among American ethnic and cultural minorities. David is president of the Indiana Association of Black Psychologists, a member of the grants board for North Central Health Services, Inc. and chair of the Purdue Black Caucus of Faculty and Staff.
David was inducted into Purdue’s Book of Great Teachers in 2008, and received Purdue’s highest undergraduate teaching honor, the “Murphy Award,” in 2012.

I joined PFSB to be a part of a community as passionate about Purdue as I am, and to learn about the importance philanthropy!

|
The Philanthropy Committee is working hard to prepare SOAR workshops for this semester along with new and creative tabling events for our WhyGive initiative. We are also gearing up for Purdue Day of Giving 2025 that will be held April 30th, 2025. Be on the lookout for more SOAR and WhyGive events happening in March and April!

The R&O team started off the semester with a successful Spring B-Involved fair. It was great to meet some new faces and share our PFSB initiatives. We have been deep in planning for our Spring Recruitment event as we plan for a new PFSB class. We hope to see you there!
|
|
|
|
The D&I committee did our second annual Internal Diversity Presentation, where we highlighted the unique qualities and backgrounds of members. We have been busy with lots of cultural celebrations, highlighting campus events like the MLK Annual Day of Service and the AAARCC 2025 Lunar New Year Celebrations!

Marketing and Communication

Thank you all, for an incredible 40 years! MarCom is working on transitioning back to PFSB's original branding through social media! As well as, promoting lots of fun events on Instagram and LinkedIn.
|
|
|
|
We had a LinkedIn workshop at one of our meetings! Through this our mentorship pairs were able to provide feedback on their respective profiles and members were encouraged to connect with current PFSB members, advisors, and alumni in fields they are interested in.
|
|
|
PFSB members have traveled to a total of fifty-six countries across 6 continents, including Kenya, Greece, and Singapore!
